'Third Side' is an archive of 95 discarded garments collected from fast-fashion waste. Each garment was meticulously documented and than pressed into a solid brick using handmade natural glue.
This intense preservation process creates a static, permanent perspective on the fleeting identities we adopt and discard in the age of fast fashion.
The bricks reveal the unique qualities of each garment—its color, pattern, structure, and texture—recasting them into a new aesthetic rhythm and physical state.
Together, they form a library of memory and identity, transforming neglected fabrics into raw material for reflection and permanence.
Exhibited at: Tel Aviv Artist House, Earth’s Backyard Exhibition, 2020 Curated by: Ilana Carmeli Lener and Sherry Faran Medium: Used garments, handmade rice glue, photography, drawing
