8 murals on the iconic red wall of the central station of Tel Aviv.

The paintings were based on collage work of female figures taken from magazines and translated into one-color paintings. Each mural features a different female character and tells a unique story about female identity.

A unique pop-up exhibition at the Imperial Hotel in Tel Aviv! Each room has been transformed into a work of art based on the theme of Alice in Wonderland. Our studio created a room with an explosion of tiles, taken from real Tel Aviv apartments, and reproduced with paint, stencils, sewing, and digital printing. The colorful tiles pay homage to the vibrant building style that once defined Tel Aviv architecture but is now disappearing.

Collaboration work with Dov Ganchrow - Skinning was realized for the Go For Broke historic design exhibition curated by Shahar Kedem and part of the 2022 Jerusalem Design Week, Israel.

The contemporary analytical tool of 3D scanning (by photogrammetry) used by archaeologists to study and archive artifacts, has an inherent technical characteristic that allows for a reinterpretation of two related hominin craft traditions: skinning hunted animals and creating sculptural icons of those same animals.

Digital three-dimensional color artifact files (virtual objects with real-world-like surface appearance) are by default achieved for the representation software in two separate and linked groups of information: geometric/volumetric spatial information contained in a mesh, and in correlation, the color information (UV map) belonging on that mesh’s surface.

In a twist on skinning a wild animal for its hide, we may now scan any of the infinite animal sculptures that have been made over the last 40,000 years, skin it, and repurpose that skin as a rug.

In this work, I had printed my body in real size on paper, during my everyday yoga practice.
when I was a textile student, daily using print as a tool for repetitive manufacturing, I was fascinated by how hard it is to repeat an image that was made spontaneously. there are rare moments that a random beauty is captured, and contains a vibrant aesthetic, that I couldn’t repeat. I was wondering about the tension between the print tool to my repetitive yoga practice. although that my body is doing the same postures every day, it is affected by the power of time, therefore constantly changing.
The prints are a documentation of the connection points of my body and the ground, keeping alive a specific moment while revealing a new angle of measuring body image.

An archive of 95 neglected garments. each has been documented thoroughly, and then pressed fully into a brick.
The work suggests a new static and permanent point of view for cloth and reveals a library of identities as raw material.

Transformation of textiles for the use of seating objects.

this project aims to push forward a new way of thinking about designing from textile waste, which keeps its value and story. with this technology, the textiles can function as fabric and as ‘wood’ at once. in this work, Guy Megides was thinking about seats, as they’re representing objects who usually combine textile with another structural material.

Here you can see some ideas for sitting objects whose lining and structure are made at once, both from used textiles.

This work gives a new point of view on the proportion of fashion consumption, by showing the abundance that exists in the micro and macro of textiles.

'the clothes no one wants’ archive is a library that documents the stories of our old garments before transforming each one of them into one brick. Guy Megides had collected above 100 old garments and documented them by giving each one an ID representing their identity. each garment got a serial number, a tag label, a photo, a self-portrait drawing, and a one-page long description.

on their tags, there are descriptions such as :
”Itamar got it as a present and doesn't like it”
"was found on the street“
”Yehonatan don't wear it anymore“
and so on…
